A cabinet alarm is an alert system that notifies you when a door, window, cupboard, or cabinet has been opened. If you store valuable items in your cabinet and want to prevent unauthorised access while staying informed about any intrusions, a cabinet alarm or wireless door alarm is essential. When a door or window opens, the sensor’s magnetic field is disrupted, which flips a switch in the sensor. The sensor then transmits this information to the alarm panel, alerting you.
A 2G/4G alert system can easily be set up with the Mobeye CM-Guard CM4000 and a magnetic contact to notify you of any unauthorised openings.
The Mobeye CM-Guard provides a practical and straightforward solution for this purpose. The Mobeye CM4000 is a versatile 4G/2G alarm dialler with NO/NC inputs, capable of operating on battery power for extended periods. It includes two floating inputs for dry contacts, and when an input is triggered, the device promptly sends an alarm notification via the Mobeye App, SMS and/or a call.

How it Works
Creating a cabinet, door, and window alarm is simple and can be done in a few steps:
- Acquire a SIM card, whether it’s prepaid or an economical SIM-only subscription.
- Insert both the SIM card and the batteries into the Mobeye CM-Guard.
- Connect the wires of the magnetic contacts to the input.
- Affix one end of the magnetic contact to the cabinet door and the other end inside the cabinet. Ensure that the magnetic contacts securely click into place when the door is closed.
- Program at least one emergency number by transmitting a straightforward SMS command to the unit.
From now on, you will receive a text message and/or a phone call as soon as the door opens and the magnetic contact is broken. Would you like the cabinet to be monitored exclusively during nighttime hours or on weekends? If so, you can easily program these schedules within the unit.
