Description

Mobeye WaterGuard CM4300 Water Leak Detector

The Mobeye WaterGuard is a water leak detector designed to prevent damage from leaks and subsequent water problems. This device comprises a reliable leakage sensor and a compact communication box. Placing the leakage sensor near a water source or in areas prone to water accumulation ensures that leaks no longer go unnoticed. When the sensor detects water-based liquid, it triggers an alarm notification. The device is powered either by batteries or an external power source. The built-in communication module can connect to both the 4G LTE-M and 2G networks.

In the event of an alarm, the Mobeye WaterGuard sends alarm notifications through the Mobeye Messages App (available for both iOS and Android), telephone calls (voice messages), text messages, and/or email. Contact persons can be configured, offering multiple options for the alarm message.

The Mobeye WaterGuard can run for over a year on a single set of batteries. When the battery voltage is low, a warning message is sent. In cases where an external power source (12-24V DC or mains) is utilised, the device also sends “power failure” notifications. This often serves as the initial indicator of an issue, prompting the need for immediate action.

Mobeye WaterGuard, reliable and simple

Next to the supplied leak sensor, two potential-free sensors can be connected, for example a water float sensor or failure contact. Configuring the settings is a straightforward process, allowing for customisation of alarm delay times, periods of inactivity after an alarm, NO/NC input types, repeat notifications, test messages, and alarm texts.

To monitor water levels, the Mobeye CM4300FS, with float sensor, is a more suitable choice.

How it WorksCM4300-IEX

The Mobeye CM4300 monitors the moisture level in a room. In the event of a water leak, it promptly sends a notification. This ensures that you can detect a water leak in a timely manner and prevent water damage or other water problems.

  1. Place the box in a dry place and set the contacts for the notifications.
  2. Fix the leak sensor where the water first will penetrate or accumulate, with the pins down.
  3. As soon as the pins feel water, the WaterGuard sends alarm messages to the contact persons. For the push messages there is a choice between an escalation plan or group message. With the escalation plan, the recipient can confirm the push message, so that the other contacts no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients confirms the push message, a phone call is made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

Mobeye SIM, Portal & App service

The Mobeye Internet Portal provides a user-friendly dashboard with essential features, including push notifications through the app, online programming, configuring notifications, accessing status and history, monitoring network strength, events, and position (Cell-Id). The ‘keep-alive’ monitor enhances security by overseeing the receipt of test messages. Activation of the Mobeye SIM card can be conveniently done online.

SIM, Portal & App

All Mobeye monitoring devices require a SIM card for communication. The product comes with a budget-friendly SIM card, which provides direct access to the Mobeye Internet portal. Alternatively, you have the flexibility of using your own SIM card.

SIM
The Mobeye M2M SIM card provides the device with full functionality, allowing access to the Mobeye Internet Portal and App.

With the Mobeye SIM card, communication occurs over the 4G LTE-M network with 2G as a fallback. When you insert your own SIM card, the device utilises the 2G network. Alarm messages are then transmitted via SMS and/or call to a maximum of 5 telephone numbers.

The Mobeye SIM card is PIN-protected and exclusively functions in a Mobeye device. Please refrain from inserting it into another device. For further information about the Mobeye SIM card, visit: mobeye.com/en/sim-cards. The rate for utilising the Mobeye Internet Portal and the SIM card can be found at mobeye.com/en/sim-portal.

Free App for your Smartphone
The Mobeye Messages app is available for download from the Google Play (Android) and Apple App Stores (iOS).
